What happens when you call

Calling commits you to nothing. Here is exactly what the first conversation covers, so you know what to expect before you dial.

1

A care team member answers

You describe what has been going on in your own words. We ask a few questions about symptoms, medications you have tried and what you want help with.

2

We check your coverage on the call

Have your insurance card ready. We confirm your benefits, explain any cost before you commit, and walk through CareCredit financing if you need it.

3

Your evaluation goes on the calendar

You leave the call with an appointment for a full psychiatric evaluation, in our Phoenix office or by video, with a provider matched to your needs.

Care for the whole person, coordinated in one clinic

Your psychiatric provider manages your medications, decides whether TMS or genetic testing fits, and coordinates with our outpatient and addiction programs. Nobody has to relay messages between offices.

  • Sessions last about 20 minutes and start at five days a week
  • You stay awake, then drive yourself home or back to work
  • Headache and scalp discomfort at the treatment site are the side effects reported most
  • Works alongside your current medication and therapy

Questions before you call

Anything not covered here, our care team can answer by phone at (480) 631-9623.

No referral is needed to book with us. A few insurance plans ask for one, and our care team checks that during your first call.

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor (MD or DO). A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) holds a graduate nursing degree and national certification in psychiatry. In Arizona, PMHNPs diagnose conditions, prescribe medication and manage treatment independently.

Yes. Psychiatric evaluations and medication management are available by secure video for patients in Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Montana, with a provider licensed in your state. Deep TMS and GeneSight testing take place in person at our Phoenix office.

We see patients age 6 and older for psychiatric care, and several of our providers focus on adolescents and young adults. Deep TMS for depression is FDA-cleared for adults and, as an add-on treatment, for ages 15 to 21.

Your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of current and past medications with doses. Records from earlier mental health care help your provider build a plan faster.
