Telehealth for Oregon residents

Online Psychiatry in Oregon

Our online psychiatric services reach patients anywhere in Oregon by secure video, with two board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners licensed in the state.

They diagnose, prescribe and manage medication for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and mood disorders, with follow-up visits on the same video link.

Video visits reach patients from Portland, Salem and Eugene to Bend, Medford and Ontario. Our care team answers Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm Arizona time. See the hours in Oregon time.

Services available to Oregon patients

Everything Oregon patients receive happens by telehealth. Two services are offered:

  • Psychiatric evaluation. A full assessment of your symptoms, history and past medications, ending with a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
  • Medication management. Prescriptions sent to your Oregon pharmacy, then follow-up video visits to adjust dose, track side effects and decide what comes next.

Conditions our Oregon providers treat include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD and trauma, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders.

Your Oregon-licensed providers

Only these two providers see patients located in Oregon. Each is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), licensed in Oregon as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Anyone can confirm an Oregon nursing license through the board's license verification.

Maggie McEnerney, PMHNP-BC, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner

Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN)

Licensed in Oregon and Arizona

Maggie came to psychiatry from behavioral health, critical care and medical-surgical nursing. She sees adolescents and adults for anxiety, depression, trauma and mood disorders, pairing medication management with education and practical strategies.

Haley Hudson, PMHNP-BC, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner

Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN)

Licensed in Oregon and Arizona

Haley has practiced in telehealth, outpatient and correctional settings. She evaluates and treats ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders and complex psychiatric presentations, with treatment plans built around each patient.

Our other providers are licensed in Arizona, Montana or Washington and cannot see patients while they are located in Oregon. See all providers and their licensed states.

How a telehealth visit works from Oregon

Every step happens by phone, online or by video. You never need to travel to Phoenix for psychiatric evaluation or medication management.

1

Call or request a time

Call (480) 631-9623 or request an appointment online. Tell us you are in Oregon so we book you with Maggie or Haley.

2

We check your insurance

Have your insurance card ready. Our care team confirms your benefits and explains any cost before your first visit.

3

Join your evaluation by video

You get a secure video link. Join from home or any private space, as long as you are physically in Oregon at the time of the visit.

4

Follow up from the same link

Prescriptions go electronically to the Oregon pharmacy you choose. Follow-up visits happen by video on a schedule set by your provider.

Telehealth visits are not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.

Know before you book

Three Oregon and federal rules that shape your care

Your location decides who can treat you

A provider must be licensed in the state where you are physically located during the visit. Join from Oregon and you see an Oregon-licensed provider.

Traveling out of state on the day of your appointment? Call us first, and we will reschedule.

Oregon's Medicaid telehealth rule spells this out: providers must hold an unencumbered Oregon license (OAR 410-120-1990).

Video visits get the same coverage as office visits

Under ORS 743A.058, Oregon-regulated health plans that cover a service in person must also cover it by telemedicine and pay the same rate.

Self-funded employer plans follow federal rules instead of this state law, so we verify your benefits before your first visit.

Controlled medications by video have a federal deadline

The DEA and HHS extended telemedicine flexibilities through December 31, 2026. Until then, Schedule II to V medications can be prescribed by video without a prior in-person visit (Federal Register 2025-24123).

Whether a controlled medication, such as an ADHD stimulant, fits your treatment is a clinical decision your provider makes after your evaluation.

Our hours in Oregon time

Arizona stays on Mountain Standard Time all year and skips daylight saving time (A.R.S. 1-242). Oregon changes its clocks, so the gap between our office and your phone shifts twice a year.

Most of Malheur County, including Ontario, runs on Mountain Time, not Pacific (49 CFR 71).

Online appointment requests are open 24/7. Request an appointment.

Care team hours Most of Oregon (Pacific) Most of Malheur County (Mountain)

Questions from Oregon patients

Anything not covered here, our care team can answer by phone at (480) 631-9623.

A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse with graduate training and national board certification in psychiatric mental health care. No. Deep TMS and GeneSight testing require an in-person visit to our Phoenix clinic. Oregon patients receive psychiatric evaluation and medication management by telehealth.

Oregon law (ORS 743A.058) requires state-regulated plans that cover a service in person to cover it by telemedicine at the same rate. Self-funded employer plans follow federal rules instead. We verify your specific benefits before your first visit.

Federal telemedicine flexibilities allow Schedule II to V medications, which include ADHD stimulants, to be prescribed by video without a prior in-person visit through December 31, 2026. Your provider decides whether any medication fits your treatment after a full evaluation.
