Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a non-invasive FDA cleared procedure that is prescribed and administered in our clinic by a licensed and trained psychiatric provider. It is for use in the treatment of major depressive disorder and anxiety-depression in adults ages 22 to 70 who have failed to gain positive results from antidepressant medications.
To begin the process, a psychiatric evaluation will be scheduled and an assessment will be completed to determine if TMS is appropriate for you. When approved, you will be given 36 treatments five days per week. Each treatment will last approximately 20 minutes.
